About the Course

Designed to develop students’ ability to think entrepreneurially, to develop a plan and strategy for turning their innovative ideas into new businesses, de-risk their technology-based startups, and to prepare a pitch presentation that will stand up to investor scrutiny.

Students will have the opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to the test as they prepare and pitch their ventures. The process will concentrate on the fundamentals of building the blueprint for a high potential venture, including the business proposition, business model, customers, product/service, competition, market, industry, channels of distribution, the selling cycle, and funding requirements among others. This course presents students with the opportunity to leverage their own innovative ideas that have market/commercial potential, and to prepare them to sell their ideas to potential investors.
