The eHub’s Travel Fund helps students, postdocs, and researchers attend external pitch competitions to showcase their tech-enabled innovations. The fund provides up to $750 per competition to cover travel, lodging, and registration costs. By supporting attendance at these events, we aim to help innovators refine their pitches, gain exposure, and build connections with investors, mentors, and collaborators.
Fund Details
- Eligibility: Students, postdocs, and researchers involved in technology-driven innovations.
- Pitch Acceptance Requirement: Applicants must be confirmed to pitch at the event, and proof of acceptance (e.g., confirmation email or letter) is required as part of the application.
- Award Amount: Up to $750 per event.
- Use of Funds: Travel, lodging, registration fees, and other event-related expenses.
- Expectations: Recipients are expected to submit a short report summarizing their experience, key learnings, and outcomes.
Application Process
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but must be submitted at least 6 weeks before the event to allow time for review and funding approval. Early submissions are encouraged.
